Is a great machine. I am very new to apple product so I am finding it very difficult to use. I can't put songs on it. I got to send it to a colleague at work who uses apple stuff to help me. I haven't regretted anyway. Cute machine, great sound .

This iPod is not a true Apple product. The home button is not the same as most iPod/iPhone products, which makes it obvious that it's not a genuine Apple iPod. The home button is very sensitive to touch, which is good since a user would not know if the home key is being pressed since it doesn't "click" like a normal Apple button. The camera quality is terrible and not as sharp as an iPod camera is supposed to be. Photos come out blurry and the colors are not sharp. The battery life is similar to other iPods (I've had an identical iPod to this, only it was a real Apple product) and if you keep using it, the battery lasts longer. If it's inactive for days at a time, the battery will die faster. Best feature on this iPod is music - it's easy to sync your playlist as it is with any other Apple product. You can also sync this product with your iPhone so that you can text and use it in place of your phone too. I recommend this to those who ONLY want a device to separate their music from their iPhone. You get what you pay for.Read full review

The item works great as a music player, which it should. I also need it to run an app, that is not available for my Android phone. I put a couple more apps on it, just for convenience. It is rather slow at opening and running the apps. Battery life could be a little better, but it's not terrible. Overall, I am satisfied with the product.

iPod Touch 5th Gen is so much improved over 4th Gen, I wonder why I waited so long to get it. As readers may know, the iPod Touch is an "iPhone without the Phone," in other words, it's identical to the iPhone with all its features except the phone. Being retired, I'm not on the phone all that much, and refuse to pay for phone contracts (I use pay-as-you-go). When I'm traveling & hooked into wireless, I use the Skype app for all my phone calls (I plug in $10 every couple of years & that's enough for hundreds of minutes). So, the iPod Touch is an amazing little device with phenomenal capability and built-in goodies too numerous to mention, e.g., the camera is great and flashlight is powerful. I love the "Clocks" app (free), not to be confused with "Clock," and use its big illuminated clock on my night table when I'm traveling. I leased MS Office 365, and am able to get all my Outlook Contacts & Calendar on this device, as well as my notes on One Note; and(if I want them), my documents & photos. This is downright exciting technology. I'm no tecchie and although there's a learning curve to these devices, especially if you're older like me, it's worth one's time and patience.Read full review
I had an IPod Gen 2 that final the on/off switch failed. This unit has much more features and is faster.
