The concept of this product fit our need exactly because our dog has scratched the molding and wall next to our front door, but after adhering the product where our dog scratched, it wasn't long before he scratched right through it. It's not much thicker than masking tape. Maybe next time we'll apply several layers, but it doesn't seem like much comes in the pack.
