Pros - Great section for a little vacuum easy to empty reliable parts are available Cons - The carpet brush has no motor and relies on the suction power of the canister with that said sometimes the suction power struggles to move the brush roller. It would've been nice to see the brush have its own motor source and an on off switch on the handle so that you do not have to go and turn the unit off at the canister

Works OK. I have another Dyson that will suck the paint off of the walls. It wears me out to use that one. (I weigh 98 pounds) Thought this one would be easier to use. And it is. Just doesn't have as much power Lacking in the attachment area. It's OK. I'm not returning it if that says anything. Thanks for letting me share my opinion.

Dyson DC39 Ball Multifloor Pro Canister Vacuum is exactly what I wanted. It has been more than two weeks using it and for now I am supersatisfied with my purchase. The vacuuming is very strong. Easy to clean, not heavy, easy to rotate the canister, easy to reach underneath of sofas etc. Also, the brush inside the tool is very useful to clean the rug from all of hair.

It would be an OK vacuum cleaner if it had an electric brush. The turbine brush, steals vacuum and never works. The vacuum itself has good suction and is reasonably quiet. Dirt sometimes clogs in the narrow part of the hose and it is difficult to remove. The on board attachment storage does not work and they are always lost. Overall Dyson is decent but way overrated and overpriced

I used to own a Dyson upright but gave up on it for a lighter machine. I have never been happy with that vacuum ever since. I just missed the suction and reliability of the Dyson but wanted something smaller and more maneuverable. This DC-39 is exactly what I was looking for. Get this and stop worrying about the cost difference. It’s more than worth it. I will never go back to any other brand. I’m “dyed-in-the-wool” Dyson fan.
