I am not a novice to drone piloting. I own several decent drones. DJI, Cheerson Cx-20, Hubsan Pro X4, etc. I received this in a box with a broken seal. I wasn't too worried at the time, it looked OK. So today, I updated everything; Skycontroller, Bebop 2. Made sure iPad was fully charged and headed to my flying area (wifi free area, no metal etc) once I arrived, I calibrated both drone and controller. Took to flight. Tested for a few minutes as always to check function. Seemed OK. FPV was a bit strange. Landed and tested everything. Again a short two minute flight 20ft high 40 meters in distance. Seemed good. Checked status of batteries, GPS lock, etc. Increased altitude to 99feet, yawed away and set pitch full forward.... That was it. Never gained control again. I chased it but it was hellbent. I hit RTh, never made a difference. Lost FPV about 500ft it seems and never saw it again. Tried to find it but its gone. New Drones should not have this problem. Something isn't jiving with the $299 price with Skycontroller. I believe it was a Refurb unit hence the fly off/away. $299 flight. Pretty Expensive. Buy at your risk. I spent a lot of time researching drones and just trying to find a fun flyer for a decent price. Look no further! At this price point $299, shipped right to my front door. A brand new drone, with a built in 1080p camera, extended range controller, that flies for 20+ minutes on a single charge is more than I expected. I had never touched a drone and was flying this thing around my property in the dark the same night I got it. Very easy to use! For this price I’m blown away. It’s awesome, buy it!

This is a bullet proof drone. Super smooth flyer. I absolutly love it. My refurb was in brand new conditon when i got it. I had one issue with a spot on my camera but because it is factory warrenteed support was on the spot with me. Response in 1 hour.

Absolutely awesome product. I watched this item when it first came out originally priced 900+ Now down to 399. This is a steal and I love the big sky controller feels like you in a fighter jet plus it has the hdmi out put for a set of fpv goggles. The new version of the sky controller does not have hdmi out. The best thing I like about the bebop 2 is it looks like a toy but performs like a professional drone. Yes it does not take video as good as DJI but it flys faster and you can by almost 3 of these for one of the DJI's
