When I first started watching this show, I had trouble taking the main character seriously; I still saw him as Hal. But the engaging story, quality of acting, attention to detail, consistency, character dynamics, and dialogue have made it impossible for me to NOT take him seriously. I was hooked after just the first episode. The story line is always fresh and full of surprises; you will not get bored watching any episode. A show with this much effort put into it deserves to be heard and viewed with the great quality of Blu-ray.
the fifth and final season of this amc drama is scheduled to debut in july, and the 13 episodes on this four disc set can bring you up to speed. the plot centers on walter white (bryan cranston) a high school chemistry teacher who begins manufacturing drugs after learning that he's dying of cancer. this is an excellent show and it is worth picking up.
