Multifunction watch controlled by a single crown made out of titanium. Capable and unpretentious. Bought my first one in 1989 and wore it every day (34 years) all over the world until it was lost/stolen 6 months ago. Looked at a thousand other watches, most costing a lot less (though price was not a consideration). All fell short as being too busy, too small, too mechanical, etc. Don't like the newer Breitling models as much either, the numbers are blocky and the bracelet clunky. Instead bought this ~1992 watch as a replacement and could not be more pleased!

The Breitling Aerospace Ref. 56062 is definitely something I'd consider a major bang for your buck. For only $1K-$2K, you can get a very stylish & functional watch fit for both aviators & casual wearers alike. The watch is operated solely with the crown, which I find to be a very nice touch, as it makes the watch sleeker & less of a burden on the wrist. The 40mm case size & the measly 50 grams the watch weighs makes it seem almost invisible on the wrist. All in all, the watch is an amazing buy I would recommend for both luxury & affordable collectors alike!

I have owned this watch since 1996. I have owned other versions of this Aerospace but this one is classical. Its titanium bracelet is super comfortable. Its durable, it keeps great time and has chronograph, perpetual calendar and gmt functions. Just an awesome overall watch!
