This pool water tester is a great quick alternative to drops. You get a pack of ... This pool water tester is a great quick alternative to drops. You get a pack of multiple strips in a bottle. Open the bottle and pull out 1 test strip. Dip the test strip a few inches deep into the pool and pull it out and wait a few seconds for the test strip panels to change color. The 5 indicator spots are compared to the bottle label and you instantly know the balance level of your pool water. I have had a couple test strips that have had a bad spot that does NOT change color, but for the low price and ease of use, it is not a problem since I just reach for another test strip to get the results. The one thing the bottle label does not have is a solution to the unbalanced chemical levels, which I sometime forget. Great product at a low cost.

These strips are the BEST! Very accurate and easy to use and to read. I use nothing ... These strips are the BEST! Very accurate and easy to use and to read. I use nothing else than these, once a week, and my pool has never been out of balance... because small weekly corrections are a piece of cake. I always hated using the liquid dropper method, as it was always a pain in the butt. But with these strips you just dip & read. (I even use them well past their expiration date because they are that good and stay reliable almost forever.) I am an experienced pool keeper, and these tell me all I need to know....and I'd recommend them highly to anyone who is a novice at pool keeping. You will be glad you bought these. They take all guesswork of of pool maintenance.
