Bokkens shipped quick, first time owning them so not sure of the quality and how they'll hold up. Wood looks oak to me. For the price I think they'll be fine. The tsuba sits a bit lopsided so I'll use a dremel to trim out the notched wood to make it sit correctly.

Item sat with the seller for awhile, had to contact them to actually have it shipped. It is definitly not new, unused, or unopened (tape was already removed on box and marking on aeg as seen in photos) but it works and isn't ugly/broken. Overall it's what I wanted, kinda what I expected to get from the price, most importantly it works. overall I'd say be cautious and don't expect COMPLETE perfection and exact description from what the seller gives you, but again for the price it ain't bad.
