This is a great little book. Heavy duty and ready to tolerate lots of handling. Lays open fairly easy (it has some weight to it). Filled with tons of facts and not a lot of nonsense you have to read through to get to the point. Excellent for the practing witch, or the curious. Topics include "What is Wicca?", "The Eight Sabbots", "The Five Sacred Elements", "Paths and Traditions" and more. This book is one of the many I keep near me during studies. Great reference material. Great pictures. I really like that it seems to be very sturdy as I'm not always kind to my books... but not on purpose! Pages are made from thick paper... won't tear easy when you flip through in a hurry. Did I mention how pleased I am with this book? Happy reading! Kina
That's what I bought it for and it has done well for me. The pages are sturdy so you can thumb through often without worry of ripping a page too easily. It explains what wicca is; Eight Sabbots; Five Sacred Elements; Paths and Traditions; Gods and Goddesses; Visualization; Sacred Circle; Becoming Wiccan; Magic; Developing Skills and Knowledge; Rituals and Ceremonies. Full color photographs. Lots of charts and graphs. The wording to picture ratio is pretty close to even.
