This gun cabinet is of good quality, but, the picture is not the one I received and the description is not this cabinet. It is described as being 25.5" wide when in truth it is only 20"wide. The cabinet described is for the 10 gun cabinet. I did not return this item because it served my needs and I believe it is good value. Overall I am pleased with this purchase

The quality is comparable to the price. The finish is very good and it is quite simple to assemble. The directions are lacking regarding the position of the gun slots. Overall, it is a good bargain, but I would not plan on putting 8 long guns in it. I think that would be very tight. Oh, by the way - It is NOT made in America like the posting states. IT IS MADE IN VIETNAM. That might be significant to some folks.

This is a nice functional piece of furniture. Assembly was fairly easy although there were some discrepancies in the instructions. For example, "screw in the hinge screws in the predrilled holes." There were no predrilled holes but I figured it out. My biggest recommendation is to shop this product. I could have bought it for over $50.00 less rgeough the Walmart site.

It does not hold eight guns as advertised. It is cheaply made. I thought it was American made; however, it was made in Vietnam. If I had known this I wouldn’t have bought the piece of crap. I wouldn’t recommend this outfit.

The color of the wood almost perfectly matches living room/dining room furniture. The packing was quite good and even survived dents in the carton from something heavy being placed on it during shipping. I was a bit disappointed that the factory forgot to drill the pilot holes in the door for the hinges (I mounted the hinges to the frame and drilled the holes while my wife held the door up to the hinges). It was awkward, but it worked. Took me two days to assemble and I thought that I was missing parts twice...but I wasn't. I have not finished leveling it but the feet make that job easy. Kind of wish that the bottom cabinet had a drawer instead of the hinged door. The last three screws had no place to go...so I used two to anchor the bottom of the rear panel...again pre-drilling the holes myself. Directions were fair but a bit confusing where the bottom cabinet attached to the top...that was a bear to get to work right with the stamped wrench...which was almost too big for the space it needed to work in. It all came together and the locks work (with a bit of jiggle needed in the bottom section). Wood seems soft and easily dented on edge of glass door. We have no children and the wife likes to move furniture around at times so the added tip over anchor will not be used. I will tip it slightly towards the wall to make it work up against the base molding in the room.Read full review
