I was hoping for a set of songs as good as, or maybe better than the superbly crafted and recorded "The End Of The Innocence". Well, I didn't find it here, or at least haven't found it yet. Maybe it'll grow on me, but from the first song, that feeling of disappointment started to creep in, and by the third song I'd gone on to something else.

The material is classic from Don Henley. He still bears some bruising from his divorce, and lets you know how he feels about the whole ordeal. The best example of this conflict in the heart of the average divorced man is the track "Miss Ghost" that is both haunting in the lyrics, and the music. It does not pull any punches, and lays it all out for everyone to see... "Damn it Rose" also carries a lot of emotion, and is worth the price of admission... JMHO

Excellent work from Don Henley.I really bought this CD 'cause I'm a great fan not only of Don Henley but also of The Eagles.The Cd it's everything that I expected and I really recommend this CD to anyone fan or not fan and like great music.Not only fabulous lyrics but also excellents guest musician like Stevie Wonder,Gregg Bissonette,Tim Pierce and others.
