I've been canning for years and I'm always looking for something just a little bit different. This book is definitely the answer. From Salsa Jam to Tequilla Lime Marmalade this book is jam packed (sorry for the pun) with excellent ideas that are apropriate even for a beginner. Loads of savory spreads as well as a complete section of drunken spreads that all use liquers, alcohols and wines. I tried the Salsa Jam yesterday afternoon and it's absolutely fabulous. I also made the Caramelized Onion Roasted Garlic Jam last night and it's really different. I think the jury may still be out on it, but it's definitely interesting. This book is a must buy for anyone looking for unique jam and jelly recipes.
