This book can help you enrich your connection with your horse. There are clear explanations on what each exercise will address. The writing isn't too complex and doesn't resort to using a lot of acronyms or advanced terms. There are lots of pictures and content not only on what to do, but also pictures of what not to do. There is the best description, accompanied by photos, of the Half Halt that I've come across so far. Safety is a priority and there are good explanations on how you're horse might react and how to stay safe. The progression with small increments keep me from getting overwhelmed. I can proceed at my pace and have more movements at hand. I do wish she used lower level horses in the demonstrations but I like how she is a smaller person riding larger horses so the photos look more like how I should visualize myself.Read full review
