It took about 6 weeks for one of them to root. I thought they were all rotten, just waited. 1 begun to grow. I would like to get another for pollination, we'll see. They are a rather large tree from what I read (30 ft.} so be sure sure you have the room. I did not use rootone, probably should have. Leave is a unlike pictures of pear leaves online, some plants tend to be when very young. There is no info on what kind of pear tree it is, would have liked that.
