I have been building picnic tables out of 2x6 treated lumber and driving 4" deck screws with the Ryobi driver. It is very powerful and exceptionally quiet compared to other models I have used. Well balanced and easy to install and remove the bit holder.

I bought it cause it is quiet, but it halts when trying to drive larger structural wood screws. you have to pause for a second then start it again, then it stalls again taking multiple times to drive in larger screws. it works good for the small stuff though.

Occasionally I can NOT use a regular drill to drive in screws on the metal or concreate material. But this strike pulse driver easily takes care of such problem. Also it is very quiet and works very well. So far, I like this tool.

I've used countless impact drivers over my 30 years as a contractor. I dont know what it is but these are effortless to use. They have TONS of power! Better than my Hilti for a fraction of the price. I have other Ryobi drivers, all 18 volt. They are all good but this is the go to if you need power.

I really never thought of the other models being loud. Until I used this one! What a difference!! I’m impressed with the quiet and the pulse of torque on final impact. I would recommend this and I am happy I got it.
