Be careful when buying this clay as old stock can become dry/brittle and must be re-conditioned, which is a labour intensive process of you don't have a pasta roller. Great clay to use. Hard enough not to deform with handling and holds detail well. Plus you only need a domestic oven to bake it. Recommended.

What to say? SuperSculpey Grey is widely used by modelers and I have started using it as well. Sure it is hard to soften it, specially for people like me who doesn't own a pasta machine, but it is that same hardness which makes it perfect for keeping the shape of your model. You can mix it with the softer SuperSculpey (which was the first one I used). That one is extremely soft and you can create a lot of details but you need to be careful or you can deform it easily, but this firm version doesn't deform easily. So, if you need to work with sturdier polymerclay, like for making sharp corners, super smooth surfaces, anime hair, mecha and props, this one is perfect. If you are aiming for an organic, less precise piece, then you better choose Soft SuperSculpey. I love this clay, it doesn't smell bad either.Read full review

This clay was recommended by my teacher for a first sculpt. Really like this stuff already and was able to create a rather nice head sculpt using it. This clay is very firm so it holds detail very well, on the negative side of that it can be cruel on your hands.
