Right out of the box the unit sounded great. I love the feature that allows you to use the unit and still charge it. The only thing I did not much care for is the radio. You can not tell what channel you are on and reception in my area is not very good. But as a Bluetooth speaker..its a 10.

It sounds great but unfortunately doesn't stay connected well. I have to re-connect it sometimes and when I do, I have to turn it off/on to know that it is in the right mode. It would help if the lights would indicate the mode. The bass, vol control, fast forward, pause and reverse features are nice. My computer indicates that the speaker is connected and sometimes shows it is "connected music" and in this state the speaker would not play music stored on Youtube. It would play music from a USB drive. I had to Restart the PC to get the speaker working again.

Overall sound quality is very good. Volume is loud, bass isn't impressive but it's fair. I bought it to use as a portable sound system for my off road truck & it's perfect for that. My wife uses it in the house while cleaning & you can hear it over the vacuum. I will buy another in a larger size because this one impressed me so much. Bluetooth sync was a breeze. For the money you'd be hard pressed to beat it.

I like my Axess bluetooth speaker because it is dependable and sturdy. I can switch from bluetooth to SD card and back to bluetooth without losing my bluetooth connection. I have 9 bluetooth speakers and think that this one is the most well built. The only item that is an issue is the lack of bass, though it is sufficient, Axess could have made it to more bass sound using the right circuits. I would recommend this speaker to anyone who is looking for a good value and dependable functioning features that come in handy while doing busy chores.
