This workout is really a great total-body toning workout. It is not the most intense workout out there, but it gets the job done. I really like Jessica Smith. She is easy to follow and very pleasant. I DO NOT like the cover of the dvd. It is inappropriate and difficult to explain to my young daughters. The actual dvd has full rear nudity, which again, was shocking to me. As a Christian mother, this dvd is not kid-friendly. The dvd menu constantly has a half-naked woman on it, as well. I do not like that there is no premix option to play both the toning and cardio workouts all at once. You have to go back to the main menu, and select the other workout. If you are looking for a good 30 minute weight and then 30 minute cardio workout that are completely separate on one dvd, then this is a good option. I do not know how much I will do the workout, as there are so many unnecessary inappropriate images on the cover, the main menu, and especially, the dvd itself. I needed a change in my workout routine. This is just what I needed. The instructor makes it very easy to follow along. Sheg gives concise instruction throughout the whole video. I would recommend this workout to others!

This workout is tough, but it moves so quickly that you won't realize how tough until the end of the workout. Jessica Smith's no-nonsense cuing is precise and the sequences build on each other. This workout employs High Intensity Interval Training. I would describe it as an intermediate to advanced level, with many lunges and jumps. There are beginner modifications that are easy to follow. The aerobic and strength training can be done separately, and the DVD menu controls allow you to decide upon either or both together, automatically book-ending with the warm-up and cool-down segments. I usually suffer workouts for the results, and I like this workout DVD. It requires concentration such that, before I know it I'm done! I would buy another workout with trainer Jessica Smith.
I'm a big fan of Jessica Smith and I'm not sure why her name isn't on the front cover. I can't comment on the book with the same title, but the DVD is fabulous thanks to Jessica and makes no connection to the book. This DVD has two segments, one cardio interval routine and one circuit weights section. You can do the entire workout or pick one 20 minute section plus warmup and cool-down. It's definitely challenging especially if you do it all and choose heavy weights. Recommended!
