Sound quelity is great, but the only thing I'd change, is the basa amplifier location. Ir would be much better if the amplifier was located within one of the speakers, instaras of being located on the wire itself

The bass is a mid bass it has no low bass, one of the speakers ended up popping, sound was ok but not the best, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless your willing to spend the money and not really care what happens to them. Pros are they are compact. Yep that's about it.... Honest review

very much bass and "pretty good" sensitivity.. you have to turn up your mp3 player or cell phone quite loud if you would like it to GO loud though.. but, if you are looking for that deep sub bass of the lower frequencies i'd look elsewhere or upgrade your mp3 player and get some passive headphones instead of these amplified ones that do not appreciate the full lower spectrum of bass. id say that they go down to about 60 to 70 hertz, not the 20hz that they say is the lowest that they go. i was using one of the best mp3 players ever made according to sound quality, the iriver h10 with rockbox installed on it so it has power and a full set equalizer. if you are looking for something that HAS that sub bass, though, id look somewhere else...
Wanting to get some full ear headphones, I gave these a try. The bass is CRAZY in these headphones and primary feature, but to get the full potential of these headphones, I'd suggest as a first try go to a song with plenty of funky bass in it. But be careful with these headphones. Once the subwoofer is busted it will sound just like a vehicle with busted subwoofers, which destroys the quality of any song with good bass. Also the bass doesn't drown the vocals nor the composition out so you can enjoy your music to the fullest. Likes: Bass, full ear (covers the entire ear), collapseable (when they're not around my neck, I put them in the satin pouch), comes with 1/4in attachment (I use this for solo practice sessions on my guitar even though these aren't headphones for music production.) Dislikes: Battery (The subwoofer is a slow drain, but accidentally leaving it on many of times will have you run through alot of batteries.) Delicate (You cannot treat these like earbuds or the subwoofer will break) If one day Skullcandy can make another one like this with a rechargeable system, that would help alot. Other than that, I would definenetly recommend these. Thanks Skullcandy!Read full review
I was very disappointed with this pair of headphones. I have owned several pairs of their ear buds and I loved the way they sounded, so i thought I would buy this pair for my 12 year old brother for Christmas. I was excited for him to open them and try them out; only to find out the sound quality with the bass enhancement was terrible. The sound quality out of these was less than I’d expect for a $10 pair from a checkout lane. To make matters worse I was informed that they only have a 14 day return policy on their product, which is great when buying as a gift for Christmas. I tried to call today and see if I could at least return them and get credit towards another product, only to find out their customer service isn't open on the weekend? Really who isn't open on the weekend for customer service? I have tried out a few of the more expensive pairs in the stores and they sound great, but this pair wasn't the companies best effort and I would avoid these.Read full review
