The Cosori Coffee Mug Warmer makes my coffee hotter than I actually make it (when set to its highest temperature). I love it! The only problem is that the base gets so hot that I worry about my wooden desk and heat transfer. So I've ordered some cork sheeting I can cut to size to put underneath it. Apart from this tricky little downside, I would completely recommend the mug warmer to anyone who works a day job at a desk and gets distracted from their beverage.

The flat surface is nice, the stainless steel "look" to the unit is attractive. The cord could be a little longer, I use it on an end table next to my favorite chair and it barely reaches to the nearest plug. My main disappointment - read complaint - is that it does not heat enough. My coffee is barely above lukewarm after it has been on the warmer a couple of minutes - and I place on a cover on the cup to facilitate keeping the liquid warm. I specifically paid almost twice as much for this brand of a warmer based on the 24w designation, assuming it would heat higher than other models. I use a warmer because I want my coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc. to remain hot but this unit does not conform to my expectations.

This was a gift to my wife, and she loves it. Unfortunately, it has a big problem I was able to fix. The warmer needs a mug with a flat bottom so that the mug has good contact with the warmer. I was unable to find a mug with such a bottom, so had to make one. Every mug I could find had a raised lip surrounding the bottom, which won't work. What I did was get a ceramic grinding disk and ground off the lip on the bottom of a cup. Ceramic grinding disks are available from hardware stores to fit in angle grinders or power saws.

This is a very durable product. It is well made of sturdy materials. It feels substantial in your hand, although you don't want to pick it up while in use.The control buttons are very sensitive to the touch; it doesn't take much pressure to activate them. I was moving it while it was plugged in and I accidentally turned it on several times until I got it repositioned. As the description states, this will not actually heat up your beverage if it is below your desired drinking temperature. It only slows down the cooling process of the beverage To get the best results, again, as the instructions state, use a flat-bottom mug or cup. The flatter the bottom, the better the heat can transfer to the container. Truly flat-bottomed mugs and cups are hard to find because manufacturers know they can tend to wobble on the slightest wave in a surface. I am going to attempt sanding one of my mugs flat to see if it works better. It does slow the cooling very well now, but I am sure it would work much better with a true flat bottom mug. Who knows, maybe it would even elevate the temperature of the drink.Read full review

Cosori, 24w Stainless Steel Coffee Mug Warmer: Great looking. Very High Quality. Digital Controls, shows the current temp and the desired temp. I gave this product 5 stars because I don't want to deduct 1/2 star for not being able to heat up all types of mugs. But basically, you need to have a "Flat" bottom mug or it won't be adequate. My advice to the Cosori company is allow the temp to get a little hotter so any mug can be heated. But once I switched to flat bottom coffee mug, it worked great. Note that it is best to start with "hot a Beverage" as it won't reheat quickly.
