Even for those people who might have seen a few of the short segments during ESPN's Saturday night college football games, a good majority of the recipes are definitely worth checking out. If there was only one thing that would be considered a slight negative or drawback, it would be that the book does not have a traditional index organized by appetizers, main course dishes, and desserts. Rather, it is organized alphabetically by school and restaurant in those specific campus towns. There are also plenty of cool images featuring the inside and outside of some of the restaurants that were featured in those brief two plus minute segments. They also include a few other restaurants that were not featured in the book, but were included during the ESPN crews travels during the seasons of 2008 to 2010. Overall, this book is not only a great reference to take on the road--but it is also a great cookbook.Read full review
I enjoyed Todd Blackledge's taste of the town segments during his college football broadcasts. I am happy he made a book out of them and plan on trying some of the recipes.
