Everyone knows Bisquick! I don't know of any other product that is so versatile and so easy to use. I am always looking for new ideas at dinnertime and for parties and I found lots of favorites here. The "impossible" pies are especially easy and very good; you can feed a family of four using a handful of ingredients that combine for a delicious result that will please both kids and adults. Bisquick recipes can be very high in fat and salt content and this collection is no exception. You may wish to omit the added salt and reduce the amount of cheese called for in some of the recipes. I have had great success using low-fat cheese and sour cream in the recipes and the results are still tasty. Betty Crocker recipes are practically foolproof and are a great way for novices (even kids!) to create quick and pleasing meals. There are seldom any leftovers when using these recipes. I think this book is a nice gift for a new bride or a twentysomething just moving into a first apartment. Anyone who frequents "potluck" suppers will also rely on this book for new and delicious dishes that everyone will enjoy. I would have liked to see illustrations of every recipe, but that is a minor complaint. This book is well worth buying and will surely be used often.Read full review

I have never made anything with Bisquick in my life, mainly because I try and stick to chicken/fish and vegetables/fruit eating. I wanted a different kind of cookbook for this holiday season to bring something different to pot lucks and gatherings. Hey, it's the holidays!!!! I've only made a few things just for the fun of it, and my neighbors love it. I hope Ms. Betty Crocker wouldn't mind that I've substituted Bisquick for coconut and almond flour for a couple of recipe experiments (the sausage stuffed mushrooms and lemon-ginger chicken)and they turned out really good. It is actually a very nice cookbook, but I have to admit, I'm not daring enough to try something that required condensed canned soup as an ingredient. All in all, I would recommend this cookbook to anyone just learning how to cook, short on preparation time, not ready for opening their own exotic culinary cuisine restaurant, someone who wants to get their kids comfortable cooking, and for anyone (and who doesn't) that has a hankering for easy to make, home cooked comfort food.Read full review
I've been looking for this book for sometime. Excellent for use for making almost Everything ! Deserts, Main dishes, Breads, Casseroles, etc. so It's one of my Favorite Cookbooks !
