I've owned and used many portable table saws. This is the best I've ever used! It is lightweight, has plenty of power, with precise and easy fence operation. It's compact size with the steel frame makes it easy to store in the truck and I'm not worried about the base getting broken as has happened with other saws. Everyone who has used it will buy one ( just like I did after using one) when they can. Dewalt upped the ante in portable table saws with this one. GREAT JOB!

I am not happy with having to bolt it to the saw, it seems to me dewalt could have come up with a better design, similar to the bosch saw stand where the saw locks into the stand with out nuts and bolts,if someone has to set it up and break it down for each use as I do, it is somewhat of a hassle, but once it is set up, the stand with the saw works very well

Very versatile, easily transported. The fence, height and angle adjustments all work very smoothly and accurately, very high quality for the price. I got a factory refurbished model and other than the box it came in and the little sticker on it I would not have been able to tell it was factory refurbished. a stand is a nice addition, I bought the DW7450... simple and just works

I like knob to set the width. Makes ripping boards much easier. Directions for setting up the safety features was a bit confusing but I figured it out. And I do like having them to help protect my fingers. This is my first Dewalt, I'm a bit of Harbor Freight guy, but no regrets spending the extra money it has been well worth it.

I'm well pleased with all aspects of the DW745 table saw except for the miter gauge. For such a well designed table saw the miter gauge is a total loss. You need to reconsider the design and manufacture of this plastic toy. Too much slop in the miter gauge takes away from making a precision cut with a fine machine. I will purchase a new miter gauge. It will probably be an Incra 1000 series. Their product allows for adjusting the slop in the miter groove. Maybe you should think about a new design similar to Incra and then you would have a Number One, Top of the Line Product. Sam
