I installed this head unit in a 1990 Ford Ranger. The install was straight-forward and took about an hour. This unit has many great features and looks like it belongs in the truck. The 28yr old truck now has hands free calling and Bluetooth media streaming! I would have liked the ability to change the illumination of the radio from red to green to match my dash illumination, but for an inexpensive head unit with the included features I cannot complain. Overall I am very satisfied and would recommend again.

I bought this radio to put into a piece of construction equipment. It sounds much better than the factory radio, has a usb port and Blue Tooth so it plays from my phone. (also comes with a microphone for the Bluetooth use of your phone) It doesn't have an open front like a cassette or cd player would so it will be more resistant to dust and the wireless connectivity helps with that too. The only complaint I would have is that mine did not come with an install wire diagram, only a manual and warranty description. It was a pain to hook it up not knowing which speaker wire was which. Its in now and sounds good though. Its surprisingly small depth wise so if you have a tight space it will probably fit, and its very light weight as well.

If you want to use the USB to play music, good luck. It only accepts 32gb max formatted FAT with a 32kilobyte unit size. And even then continuous play is not guaranteed. It gives a false impression it's playing files but you hear nothing. It will fail to play, fail to read file names, and you have to insert another USB to get it out of whatever state it's trapped in. The LCD screen is super cheep. It's hard to see and the refresh rate is so slow you wonder why they bothered to use animations and scrolling as it becomes even more unreadable. If you want to see the clock you have to change the display to the clock. You have to cycle through 5 things to get to the clock and back again. One being the spectrograph which of course is useless because of the poor refresh rate. The volume knob feels flimsy and it takes too many rotations to change the volume. The rotations could be cut in half. I have received calls via bluetooth and I can't find any glaring faults there. Some problems could possibly be fixed if there was a firmware update. I wont hold my breath though.Read full review

Easy to install. Great sound and streams the artists and song titles on the screen. Bluetooth was a breeze to connect to and works great
