The unit is small and easy to set up. The audio and charging cables are of good quality, although they are a little on the short side. The unit picks up signal through walls and from a good distance away, which was impressive for the price point. The only thing that I don't like about the unit is that when you connect or disconnect it will say "connected" or "disconnected" through the device it's receiving for, and it's really really loud. Like about blow my speaker out loud. So I'll just have to make sure it's not plugged in when I connect to the Bluetooth.

This device has some kind of equalizer built into it, or something of that nature. When we are paired with our devices, it seems to enhance the bass which is unwanted. If you have a tuned system this will make your bass sound like trash because it is way Amplified. If you have low quality stock speakers on your vehicle this will make it sound very distorted due to the bass enhancement. At first we thought it was on our phones but after connecting Bluetooth to a different device we bought, we did not have these problems. There was no possible way to remove this base additive that we could find

I have a stereo system that works and sounds good that i got in the 90's. I haven't used it in the past few years because it didn't have things like aux input, bluetooth ect since everything is more digital. I wanted to use it in my shop so i started looking for cables such as aux (from phone) to red/white video/audio cables (to stereo) and stumbled across this device. ordered it hooked it up and sounds great and works anywhere from my phone via bluetooth in a open 2400sqf shop. It does have a built in battery that i used for a hour without it plugged in (was still working off battery when i plugged it in) but i'm not to concerned with the battery life as i leave it plugged in.

Expect to get what you pay for. This feels like a cheap piece of plastic and may possibly break if you breath on it just right. But I gotta say it works very well. Syncing up is interesting, you turn it on and hold it within 10 inches of the Bluetooth device and suddenly it's paired. The only way you know is by the quick flashing blue light becoming a steady flashing blue light. It does exactly what is advertised. Latency is very low but don't try walking too far away from the box or it will become very choppy. This really is a great little product for the price. Comes with all you need in terms of cables to hook up and get going. I would recommend this if you need a Bluetooth transmitter/receiver that doesn't cost $30 or more.

I originally bought one of these with the intent of using it to transmit from a soundsource to my Bluetooth headset. I could not get any of my Bluetooth speakers or headsets to connect with it... But... As a device for receiving Bluetooth signals it worked great. I even attached one to my digital mixer for situations like weddings, where someone wants to pipe music into my PA without having to use a direct box and those pesky little 1/8 in to RCA connectors. Be careful though period when using into an amplified Source the voice command that notifies you that the connection has been made is very loud. So have the channel turn down until the connection is complete. I found it rechargeable battery gave me a lot of hours before needing charging. Also used it in my wife's car for trips when we ran out of radio range for music on our phones,( her car doesn't have a Bluetooth stereo). Still worth it for me and I own two of them and recommended them to another friend for the same purpose.Read full review
