These cell batteries are among the best that can be bought when it comes to leak-proofness. Many electronics are ruined because the caustic chemicals leak once the battery is spent. Always buy good branded batteries, it's well worth the additional money--the brand wants to make sure that their products perform well otherwise the brand suffers.

These batteries may last a little longer than ones found in dollar stores, but they aren't really long lasting. I use them in a watch that has both digital and analog displays. The original battery was supposed to last 10 years but died within 5. None of the Maxell or dollar store batteries seem to last much longer than a year in it. With this in mind, you can get numerous Maxell for the cost of an Energiser at a department store, so in terms of length of service for $X.00 the Maxell aren't bad value. If you are more concerned with not changing the batteries often, then you may wish to look at another brand.

Good quality battries with quite a distant expirey date.

Product as described in plastic... works great - took 1 day longer to arrive than stated date - but that's not a problem. I wish that the packaging stated the exp date on it though... so there is no way to confirm the true expiration - but they do work so I am happy.
