These work well for diabetic foot ulcers! Sluice wound with saline solution. Cut piece of dressing to fit wound. Cover with bandaid or other tape to hold strip in place. Change regularly-more often if draining. Add more dressings on top of strip if necessary. I was treated by this method in my hospital by a trained professional, and it works!!!! Simple to do at home, and very economical. This item should be kept in all First Aid kits.

I was using double sanitary napkins wrapped around my ankle for a weeping leg patch that was behind my leg. I used 1 premium incontinence pad & 1 booster pad 2-3 x a day. The back of my pants leg was always drenched as well as my shoe. I drenched a large 3 fold beach towel while just sitting barefoot. Once I got to the wound care clinic & saw what they used, I could not believe this little pad was so mighty in absorbency. WOW. My other pads would be so HEAVY with drainage in addition to being changed several times a day. The clinic assured me the pad would last until they saw me again a week later and it did. Again, WOW. The other thing I noticed was they cut the pad in half, placed it over the affected area then continued their wraps (for my compression boots). Whatever they did not use they gave me to take home, which has been added to my arsenal of wound care supplies. I no longer feel like my leg is in a weighted shackle. Read full review
