Got this as a present for my brother who loves Transformers and has a small collection. As someone who also grew up in the 80's, I also loved watching and playing with the few Transformers figures we received. Although the design of the characters have changed since it was introduced into the big screen, one thing hasn't changed and that the move has stayed true to the never-ending war between Autobots and the Deceptions. Starscream Leader Class is amazing in detail and design with lights, sounds, and various phrases not present in some of the other figures. He provides complexity in his transformation from robot mode to alt mode, thus saving him mostly for adults to convert. Children need not apply. The pop-up gatling gun and missiles are an awesome touch, although null rays would have been a great tribute to the past. This figure is simply awesome! Totally worth paying the cost to upgrade from the Voyager class. If you don't have the Voyager, skip it altogether and buy this awesome Leader Class! For a long time, I wondered why there was never a Leader Class release of Starscream. His size in the movies put him at the same stature/size as Megatron or Optimus Prime. The wait was worth it! There is a HUGE difference between the Voyager and Leader class. The detail on the figure is superb. The transformation isn't too challenging (for an adult collector). I feel like this is the first iteration of the character that's true to his depiction in the movies. He does have electronics/sounds in both modes. His voice sounds a little cheesy, but the words are spot on for his demeanor. His jet mode is FANTASTIC! He's huge but not too bulky. I definitely recommend getting this figure!Read full review

This is a pretty good version of Starscream. It transforms pretty easily. It comes with 5 guns & a crown. The detail is a little off. He doesn't have the red scoop design next to his head. He is way to tall. He is around 10-11in tall. It would've been better if it was around 8. Other than that it looks right. His head is nicley detailed. All in all a good toy for a child or collector.
