This is a fun DVD that shows an actual class. The teacher is a little cooky, which I like and which makes the experience of watching it pretty fun, but she does some things that seem very different from other yoga that I know. She used some strange names for poses that I thought had other names. Also, you can't really skip around to different parts of the class. I watched it a few times but find I don't use it much for my regular practice.
Very easy to do. I just started this video in the beginning of my 7th month and I was worried that it would be too strenuous for me to do since I've never done yoga before. It was very easy to get through the whole thing without stopping or feeling strained at all. At first I thought maybe it was too easy but it wasn't until the next day that I was a little sore and could tell it would work after all. The lady is a little strange sounding and I skipped the chanting parts(which was only a few minutes worth) but you do get used to her voice very quickly. I would definately recommend this to anyone who has never done yoga before and would like to try it out at home.
This video was not helpful. When I buy an exercise video, I want to stretch or move my body. I personally don't buy a video to meditate with. What you'll get with this DVD is alot of sitting, reflecting and chanting mixed with some weird ideologies and a small amount of stretching/movement.
I loved exercising to this DVD during my pregnancy. It was good exercise as well as relaxation techniques that helped prepare me for my baby's birth.
I loved the fact that I could find a Pre Natal DVD like this since I could not find any classes in my area
