This TV is a very nice unit. Lots of built in features. It has a beautiful picture when you are connected to a 4K source, unfortunately there is very little 4K content. It does a good job in up scaling 1080p content and HD channels form a satellite service like Direct or Dish. I have noticed ,on my TV, that viewing from any other position other than directly in front of the TV the picture is not as bright and clear. Sorta washed out. I really thought that the viewing angle on these 4K TV's was supposed to be great from any angle. It's not bad just not as good as watching from straight in front of the TV. I have learned one valuable lesson when hooking up this TV. Be sure you use a 4K rated UHD HDMI Cable. I used a regular HDMI Cable that I had on my HD TV and was very disappointed in the picture. When I replaced it with a 4K rated UHD HDMI Cable boy what a difference it made. So be sure you have a 4K UHD HDMI Cable.Read full review

The picture is fantastic. My wife & I have really enjoyed watching everything since we received out new LG. In addition to a really good remote, great picture, & great design, this TV has a very powerful processor that can smoothly stream even large video files without so much as a hiccup. Prior to this TV, we've tried every combination & brand of different equipment in order to switch between cable and streaming services and streaming from networked drives with Plex. Visio TVs have caused us a great deal of frustration because, although the picture quality is OK, the processor is too weak and applications like Netflix & Plex seem to take forever to load and start streaming. Not this TV. As soon as the app is selected, it boots in seconds. Streaming starts almost immediately and is rock solid. We are very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it as a fantastic value. In addition to UHD, this set supports HDR content, which is something not to forget when selecting a new set. Go for this one!Read full review

The LG combo, TV plus sound bar, was offered for $799. The sound bar alone sells for $220 at the big box stores; the TV can be found for $798 to $997. But none of this is important if the quality is not there. After just two weeks of use, I'm still exploring the TV's possibilities. Even at this early stage, I'm impressed with its potential. Multiple picture and sound adjustments provide the ability to fine tune to one's taste. The TV's built in speakers are quite good; the sound bar further enhances the quality of the sound with solid bass and crisp mid-range and highs. Highly recommended--if the price is right.

Love the TV as well as the sound bar. This TV comes with all latest technologies and can handle (almost) everything. Can be controlled by Phone. Screen cast from Phone works - Can share images and even movies from the device. Can stream from phone or laptop. Only downside was the small selection of LGs apps but that is too small compared to all the other benefits.
