I have an Asus Zenpad 8" tablet with a 2g Intel processor that seems faster than this 10.1" model with a MediaTek 2g processor (i.e. slower app load time & download speeds). They are set-up identically so I don't get it. I'm also not what you would call a "techie" though. So I may be missing something. Overall a good unit. I just wish the battery would last as long as my 8" when it was new.

I've not had an Android device so I'm still learning how to take advantage of the flexibility as compared to Apple products, but so far I am glad I made the purchase. I do still have my iPhone. I think if I would've made a complete cross over to Android I would be frustrated right now. That's for those of you who are Apple users thinking about switching to Android. There is one app in particular I use a lot that is available for Android but not specifically for the Asus--WhatsApp. I use that on a regular basis to communicate with my daughter overseas, and that is the most disappointing thing about it. The larger screen for video conversations would have been nice. Other than that so far so good. I may update later if it becomes five stars.
