This machine is meant to be used for quick fixes and it appears to be well suited for that. Due to the plastic case and lighter quality metal in comparison of my 1966 machine, it feels very flimsy but I wasn't expecting a high quality machine for the price I paid. A little difficult to keep the thread from catching the first knob from the spool of thread. It tends to slip down as there is no groove to keep it in place. I hope I feel better about using it as I get more familiar with it's features. I like the multiple type of stitches it can perform.

This little machine is such a great value! It is lightweight, with a handle on the top for easy portability. For such a small machine it has a lot of stitch options. The drop in bobbins makes it simple to get started. It has a low/high speed that makes straight stitching a breeze. The only downfall is that there is no light. I attached an adjustable, gooseneck LED and the problem was solved.
