It is definitely not for a "child" to build, even some adults would give up with the scant instructions and cheaply made parts. But I liked the challenge and exercise of coming up with hacks to finally make it work. - There was one less wire provided and many extra screws and nuts. - Mounting the vertical sections with the screw/nuts was a no-go. The vertical sections were longer than the provided screws, so had to grind them to make them shorter. Then, one of those sections broke as I was mounting/tightening the screws, so had to build a replacement with a piece of soft wood. - Added a wire and some tape to hold the wires in place. Worked out well in the end. Runs well. Kids overjoyed with their assembly (with some major help ;-) ) - MUST remove thin plastic films from the plastic panels - that will make them look shiny!Read full review

More China garbage. The parts broke during assembly. You need glue gun and soldering. Motor worked for one day and burnt. No English instructions, and even photos not clear. Not worth the effort, nor money.

Let the kids to excersice handyness and simple physics, grow their interest to science. Will be better if there is instruction in english.
