The menu structure on this camera is so obvious that I quickly became adept at using iit even in the dark. Fitted to a Cannon T adaptor it fits directly into every telescope I use, and is so easy to bring into focus (even if using the viewfinder rather than the display screen). My ambition to begin long-exposure deep-sky imaging is coming along much more quickly than it was (i was using a bespoke ZWO telescope planetary imaging camera before getting this Cannon Rebel T5). It has opened up long-exposure imaging, so you can see image quality before processing. It's given me much more confidence in imaging of night sky, and also opened up a whole new hoby in photography generally.
