IMHO I'ts the best price/performance processor for Intel Socket P motherboards. Runs very cool and is truly efficient. It replaced my very slow Intel T2330 in my Acer 5720z laptop. Paired It with new SSD, It's night and day difference! Highly reccomended!

I bought this to replace the T5550 1.83 GHz that came with my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. I know it's considered an older processor now, but it was worth the money. The extra cache and clock speed definitely make a difference. It seems to be much more responsive, it runs things faster, and seems to generally stay at a lower clock speed and temperature than the old processor. I wish I had upgraded earlier. I was able to find it for a very reasonable price compared to similar processors out there.
I went from a t2410 to this. I was expecting a big jump in speed, but it's not as much as I thought it would be. I do know it can do the same task at about same speed but runs a lot cooler so that's a good difference. Still worth the money since they are cheap now.

I got this to upgrade my wife's Toshiba Satellite C655. Replaced the Celeron it had with this CPU and the difference was he very noticeable. It used to take almost 20 seconds to start up and open a document on Microsoft Word. And now it only takes about 6 seconds.
