So I bought this game for my six year old daughter. I couldn't resist playing it myself. I find myself playing almost as much as her. The game play is somewhat simplistic. One button for gas, one for brakes/reverse, and an upper key for special items (super speed chili peppers, smoke screens, missles, shields, etc.) The graphics are neat. Championship races are fun. The time trials are a bit challenging, though. I am amused by the comments made by the characters. There is no foul language and only superficial violence (shooting missles at and dropping mines for the other players) no bloody mess like some games. All in all I would rate this game a very good play.
It was a good price for the value of the game graphics and style, thank you.

Daughter loves the game. At first we thought is defective but I told her to check the settings(I thought maybe the contols could be changed like the bigger systems). Actually it was set up for left handers so once she set it for right handed, it worked perfect(we bought the game used). I think it is great it can be used for left or right handed people.
I really like this game. It's cute and I really like the classic cartoon network characters. I'm an adult novice to video games and I"d recommend it to another novice such as myself. This game is alot of fun and I haven't been able to put it down yet. 2 thumbs up!
My 4 yr old son, had a fit for this game... and he just loves it! It keeps him occupied, while taking road trips. He and his brother links the dsi's and have a great time challenging each other.
