Yeah, OK, it is "Twisted Metal" Underwater, but with the added features of a time limit and the danger of being crushed if you spend too much time below 'critical depth'.You have the option of everyone being on the same team, playing against the bots, or everyone playing for themselves. Either way, all the "Pods" have to be gathered in a short amount of time before you can go on to the next level. The underwater sets are pretty cool, open areas and plenty of cover. Game play pretty much like "Twisted Metal", except in three dimensions instead of two, and the above noted differences. Good for an afternoon's vegging out.More fun with multiple players.
One of the coolest water games love it

Critical Depth is Twisted Metal with submarines. If that's not enough to draw you in, then how about a crazy group of characters and submarines. The vehicles range from the giant Russian 'Stalingrad' that rams opponents to the tree hugging dolphin craft that fires smaller dolphin torpedoes. I loved this game when it first came out. It's not the most amazing game ever made, but it's a fun dive!
