Well, I was debating whether or not to buy this game since most dinosaur games seem to just not live up to expectations across various platforms. However, this game is actually pretty amazing. The combat system is turn-based and many people have said it's like "Pokemon". I would say that it is similar, but it truly has it's own battle system. There's a wide variety of dinosaurs that you can use to build a team and with that said, multiple strategies exist. Another great thing about this game is simply excavating fossils and cleaning them. It can be frustrating since you're actually scored on how good you clean the fossils, but it's still a very interesting and fun part of the game.
My kiddo loved (and then lost) this game quite some time ago and has been wanting to replace it ever since. Was thrilled to find it, in new condition. Just a good as he remembered. Thank you!

It's a little pricey, but worth it. Slightly similar to Pokemon, so players need to be able to read and comprehend instructions, have some patience and know what's the best dinosaur or group to use in battle. If all these are present, this game is hours and hours of fun!!!
