A good all around game. My husband and I play games together and we try to find games that are multiplayer, which I thought this one was, but alas it is not. So, with that said, I am giving you this review from a second person's perspective. ( keep in mind I was there with my husband working through the game together)From the beginning the game sucks you in . We both found it awesome that we could play more than one charachter, and didn't have to follow the "traditional" path games take you on where you play their way. This game allows you to play your way. You choose what you want to do and the game has multiple endings. The only draw back was that navigation is a bit tricky, but you get used to it. So all in I all I recomend this game for it's different approach to gameplay, and it's ability to keep you on the edge of your seat!Read full review
Indigo Prophecy is a departure from the games you're used to. At its core, it's really a suspenseful R-rated RPG that sucks you in from the start as you play multiple roles. The graphics and voice acting are good, but the background music/sound fx really set the mood. One of the best features of the game is its forced quick decision making on your part, which influence the development of the plot as well as your characters' ability to function. For example, if you are questioned by a police officer, confronting a girlfriend, etc, when you answer a question you have literally a second or two of reaction time to choose what you are going to say. Choose wrongly or be ill-prepared for the moment and you could be screwed. The game has many side-plots and features to keep you engaged as well. This game is definitely not for children. Great for college aged and older.Read full review
I love the fact that it is totally open ended and you can do whatever you want. there are multiple endings to the game. and too many story lines to count. you dont just tell your charachter what to do you have to do it. if you do not do a good job they may kill themselves. you never get stuck. you may have to try a few times. but thats what makes games fun...difficulty. the only reason i did not give it a 5 is because of how short it was. if it was longer it would be perfect. i hope to see a sequel or more games like this in the future(aqua green prophecy..haha...) well thanks for reading
If You're an Xbox owner and looking for something that doesnt involve a gun or a ball as a primary tool to get things done. Well... Your screwed, just kidding. This game has one tool and that is called "choice" the desicion you make will change the out come of the game. You play as a murderer (so he thinks) that just committed a crime and you must try to run away from the cops, lie to the cops, and hide the evidence from the cops. You play as cop who had been assigned to a murder case to investigate, your mission is to find murderer, find the evidence, and find out how he looks (strange? I know). This game also has its own mini games, like basketball and also overcoming cluastrophobia. The controls of the game is a bit glitchy at times but you'll over come that, gameplay is pretty fun its just like simon says, graphics is just like maxpayne, sound and voice acting is one of the best things about this game, and overall the game unique and different, you really do feel like a suspect trying to run away from the cops and you do feel like a cop collecting evidence. This game has all the goodies, so like I said give it a shot if your looking for something different. whenever you do pick up this game let me give you a tip "DONT FORGET TO PAY YOUR BILL AT THE RESTUARANT". P.S. there is no life bar just a sych bar.Read full review
Indigo Prophecy is easily the best adventure game to come out since Syberia II. There aren't many adventure games on the console system and that makes Indigo Prophecy stand out even more. I'd go so far to say it's easily the most innovative adventure game in the last half decade, though the dearth of games within the genre may have something to do with that. Playing the game is like being involved with an interactive movie -- it's immersive, action-packed, yet retains the primal nature of the adventure game genre. Indigo Prophecy packs a wallop of a story, hair trigger action sequences, and time-dependent events that require fast thinking. It's really the last part that seperates the game from the rest of the crowd -- you don't just try try try again until that singular item works. Instead, you do things (such as hide evidence or discover evidence of a crime) that have later reprecussions on how events play out -- it's a phenomenal direction to take the genre, making the game feel more like a choose your own adventure story than a statically-linear, or devoid-of-life world. In the end, the world feels alive and the story is exciting, making the game ridiculously fun to play. And that's what counts in this genre.Read full review
