I recently Purchased a PS3 Fat that was Backwards Compatible. My Grandson had been wanting this Game but we both had PS3 Consoles and this is a PS2 Game. I put the PS3 away until I had time to Reapply the Thermal Grease to the CPU and GPU. Wanted to make sure the PS3 Wasn't going to go into the YLOD. I finally got it done and purchased this game without my grandson knowing. When he came over, he was totally thrilled! He had been watching Videos on YouTube about this game and told me for a long time that he really wanted it. I was glad I finally found a Backwards Compatible PS3 as most of my games were PS3 and I didn't have room for two consoles. I'm not a gamer, this was all for my grandson! I'm sure he'd want me to give this game a 5 Star Rating! The Graphics were very good for a PS2 Game, but they were a little weak in the PS4 world! Even the PS3 Game Graphics are quite a bit better, but for it's age, the graphics are great!Read full review

Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis (Sony PlayStation 2, 2003) This game is a "MUST HAVE" for any dinosaur fan...its a little WILD at times and there are obstacles to deal with...such as attacks, storms, death, ticks and rabies oh and the endless hunger! The graphics are very good and the sounds will thrill you! You can build your very own Jurassic Park, care for them, watch them, observe them, give them medicine and feed them, visitors will come with $$$ that you use to take care of your Dino Park to make it bigger and better..."they also have babies, always a plus"...but watch out (remember) they are wild creatures...but, with a little trial & error you can have an prosperous Dinosaur Park full of amazing creatures! I think anybody that likes dinosaurs (young or old) will really enjoy this game, very realistic and captivating...like taking a glimpse into the past??? I would recommend this game...but it can be hard work taking care of all those animals...there NOT pets...they are huge killing, eating, unpredictable, amazing wild creatures from the past!Read full review
It is one of the greatest games in need of a remake. The fact that this is a rare game makes it even more expensive but valuable. If you can get your hands on this game, do it.

a great game that is different than most. i myself like games where you have to build a park (or attraction type place) and then run it. with dinosaurs, it becomes 5 times as fun. i wish they would make an operation genesis 2, maybe with a little bit bigger budget to advertise it and work on the story play. this game could have and should have sold big time and become a big name game with many sequels. i havne't given up hope on that one... -jamie
