In King's Quest V you will play as Sir Graham The King of Daventry and try find your lost family. On a random day, while Sir Graham was away, the entire castle and his beloved family were gone. His castle and his family had been swept away by a mysterious and powerful cold wind. When Sir Graham returns he finds nothing but empty land and a very wise owl. Fortunate for Sir Graham this owl had seen every part of the abduction and will accompany Sir Graham and help him with tips and advice in his quest to find his beloved wife and children. In the game you will control Sir Graham on his journey in finding his beloved family. You will have to interact with many of NPCs, searching for answers and finding clues in order to find the whereabouts of your beloved wife and children. You will also have to be brave because you will need to fight along the way. Luckily you have you sword just incase you should need it. When i was like 7 i played this at my neighbors and i never figured it out untill i bought it a few years ago and finally beat it! But i could kick my self for losing it again!!! lol
A strong RPG for the NES (Nintendo). Can sometimes be had for under $10 CIB, Complete in Box and other times it will go for as mush as $25 CIB. Good fun game all around, is also available for computers as well.
This port of a fantastic game falls incredibly short on the NES. The graphics are appalling even for 8 bit. Furthermore the game has many aspects "toned-down" to conform to Nintendo's family-friendly guidelines.
