Leader Board is a golf simulator that gives you four different 36-hole courses in which to play. After choosing to play as a novice, amateur or professional, you will need to step up to the first hole and select a club. Using the Power/Snap Indicator, you can determine how far to hit the ball and whether you want to hook, slice or hit the ball straight. Once you get within 64 feet of the hole, the computer will automatically position you on the green and place a putter in your player's hands. Here you must consult the Slope Indicator and Power Indicator to help you determine how hard and in what direction to hit the ball.
Each of the four golf courses in Leader Board are riddled with hazards, such as trees, sand traps, water, mud and out of bounds. In the one-player mode, you are playing against par. With two to four players involved in the action, you can play Medal Play, Match Play or Best Ball. If you just need practice, you can try out the driving range.
