Ninjatown is a fun strategy title for the Nintendo DS. At it's core, this is a tower defense game but instead of towers you build ninja huts which spawn ninjas to fight off the baddies. There are 8 different types of ninjas total (4 melee and 4 ranged) which are unlocked over the course of the game, plus a handful of modifier buildings which help your ninjas do more damage, move faster, etc. You also have Master Ninja powers you can use to help in the fight such as burning enemies with the magnifrying glass, or blowing into the microphone to push enemies back. UPSIDE: A solid strategy game with an amusing theme and silly/funny dialog and cutscenes. DOWNSIDE: Even though you can sell off your ninja huts to build something else in their place, in practice it takes too long to really adjust your strategy on the fly. This means that you will be starting levels over until you figure out a strategy that works. Also, while the game is fairly long (36 levels) there's not a lot of replayability here when you finish. A difficulty setting would've helped here. OVERALL: An above-average strategy game that I had a lot of fun with.Read full review
This game is very fun, it's easy to play and it's very captivating. Similar to bloons tower defense on addicting games dot com if you want to try something similar.

At first I didn't get this game. But once I understand how to play, it is pretty addictive. Simple game but can't stop playing it ! My 10 years old enjoyed this game as well as me... Not the long lasting game but surely entertain well for a while.
