This game is a great game with more Pros, than cons. The game came close to earning a perfect five out of five. First let me start off with the PROS: This game is loaded with a lot, I mean A LOT of mini games all focused around the shooter type style. There are a few modes in this game as well. You can play Free Play, which means you can choose which ever mini game you would like to practice in. You can play Arcade Mode, and choose which style of difficulty, and play the select number of games choose for the difficulty level. Brain Massage is my favorite mode in this game. It determines how smart you are, by playing the shooters, and you can unlock different brain massage challenges, and unlock different ranks for the challenges. The museum has four games that were remakes of popular arcade games. These games are not the short version, they are the full version of what you would play in the Arcade. The games are also short. So this is the perfect pick up & play game. If they made this for the console, I would have to give it a lower score. Now it is time for the CONS: Not too many cons here. You have to use the stylus for all the games (which isn't a bad thing it is a ds game right?), and your hand and the stylus can block some targets, some games are worse than others for this event. There is no way to adjust time limit for the games in FREE Play. When I was playing one game in Free play, I got really into it, and it ended within 20 seconds. The last Con for this game may be for some people, but for me, I didn't really mind about this one. There is no voice talent in the game, which means you have to read the objectives. I grew up reading books, and my Nintendo games, so this doesn't really affect me, but some people it may. Thank you for taking the time out today and reading my review. If you found it helpful, that is great. If you didn't.... well it only took you a minute to read this, and it took me a lot longer to write this lol.Read full review
A light gun game on a touch screen? Sure. It is the classic Point Blank stages and they are still a lot of fun. It would cater better to fast paced puzzles a bit better, but still is a lot of fun.
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
At first it's fun to see how many fireworks you can blow up in 20 seconds. It's also fun to see how many bullseyes you can shoot in 15 seconds as the targets rotate. The game is loaded with levels but the idea remains the same. You shoot stuff as fast and as accurately as possible. It's not like Time Cops or Area 51 in the arcades, where you run up streets and shoot people. Sadly, it's extremely repetative and after 10 minutes you'll never return to it. It has a few levels that are from the classics, but they are so short it's really not fun. Each level has Practice, Beginner, Hard, and Insane. The characters and targets move faster, you have less time, and you need to shoot more targets as you progress through the difficulties. Overall, not worth it. If you must have every DS title there is, then get it. Otherwise, save your money and get something else.Read full review
I love this game so I decided to buy it on Ebay. It's not violent and full of blood and YUCK! It's a great game for people who enjoy other games like, "The Brain Age." It challenges marksmanship, accuracy, speed and judgement. But the best is, you have FUN! And being that it's for the Nintendo DS, you use the stylus for everything so it makes it easier to navigate. 5 Stars here! ^o^
i love the fact that the game is a touch screen game. my grandson is 2 and he loves playing the game. its nice that you can plaay the game and there are no levels to defeat, just pick it up and play. for adults the game may not be as great as it is for children, but i like the game. would recommend it for anyone!!!
