The game itself was very pleasurable, the only real problems with the game were the glitches. Such as sound going out of sync, or just not being there at all. The graphics were pretty decent for a port of the Xbox/Ps2/Gcube versions. But at times the framerate slows down a bit, and the areas can get kinda buggy and blurry. The levels can also disappear on you, you'll go through the mission and die on accident, when you come back parts of the level can go missing The gameplay was fun and exciting, creating acrobatic combos are a breeze. And you'll never get tired of those fast paced speed kills. Switching between Prince and Dark Prince is pretty cool, I myself prefer Dark Prince, mainly because hes a bit more sadistic and ruthless. But the normal prince has his moments, you may get lost on some of the levels though(trust me on that lol) The story is easy to get sucked into, i started playing and coudln't stop playing the whole day. Seeing the Prince running after kaileena(dont know if i spelled it right), all the way to seeing the Vizier killing her. the story is exciting and enigmatic Overall, I give this heroic prince a 8.5/10Read full review
Forget what you know about the Prince of Persia series. Let go the Sands of Time. Release your Warrior Within. Ubisoft Montreal has created a new Prince, in a new world, with a new female companion and a very different design philosophy. The longer you hold on to the style of last generation's Prince of Persia, the harder it will be to master the new one. Embrace the change and you're likely to fall in love with the new Prince (or at least his lovely companion). This time around, the eponymous star is tossed into a conflict between light and dark as the evil god Ahriman is released from his prison beneath the Tree of Life. His touch has corrupted a nearby kingdom; alongside the mysterious princess Elika, it's your job to cleanse the world of gooey blackness and put the bad guy back in the ethereal hoosegow. Mostly, that involves jumping, sliding, gripping and slipping through over twenty levels worth of platforming mania. It's billed as an open-world experience, and in a sense, it is: based on which magical powers you choose to unlock, you will tackle the world in a different order. It's a nice change of pace from the linear approach typical of most adventure games. It's just not as open-ended as you might think. Telltale signs point you towards certain run-able walls, which will in turn send you tumbling directly towards the right pole, which is handily placed right in front of that useful column, and onward. Simple controls make the whole thing easier than past Prince of Persia games -- you never have to press loads of buttons or get fancy with the analog stick -- but more seasoned gamers might find it plays more like a guided tour than a truly free-roaming experience. OVERALL 9/10 THIS IS A MUST BUY AND WILL MAKE A GREAT GIFT!Read full review
We personally enjoyed the original game for the PlayStation 2 Console titled "Prince Of Persia: The Two Thrones". This PSP title "Rival Swords" is exactly like the "Two Thrones". However, this game has additional levels and it has a "Multiplayer" feature as well. So, if you enjoyed the "Two Thrones" as we have, then we definitely recommend it. If you haven't played this game or the "Two Thrones" and this is all completely new to you, then we recommend this product 100%. It's definitely a game that you wouldn't want to miss.

This is an excellent game! I loved the XBox version, and the PSP version is surprisingly comparible. There are some rough spots in the PSP port -- sound sometimes drops or gets out of sync, textures are a bit blocky, and in a few areas the visuals completely break down. However, the good far outweights the bad, and it's an impressive title for a mobile platform. Great game!
One of my favorite PSP games, and one of my favorite Prince of Persia games. It has everything a PSP game needs! Its For PSP. Its a good game for the PSP. It has good graphics, Controls are great, good challenge, lots of fun. I really love it. It is hard to come across PSP games now days.
