By the time you pay for a Japanese version with the box and manual plus a translated version, you're gonna be up to $100 in this title. Throw in the originals and that can triple. It's worth every penny and every hour spent on gameplay. SaGa 3:Jikuu no Hasha / the Final Fantasy Legend 3 is an outstanding Japanese handheld RPG in it's own right. This variant, Shadow or Light adds 3D graphics and changes the battle to what I'd call a more American style like what's found in Dragonstomper and earlier SaGa titles. It adds a plethora of side quests and new attacks. It expands character customization. It ditches the usual stat increase with levels found in Shining Force and Final Fantasy in favor or increasing stats based on actions taken in battle. Get it, you won't regret it.
