This game is great! Especially for people who are just getting into the shooter genre. Very impressive graphics and parallax scrolling. Soundtrack is awesome! This game is great to learn the genre on, with diverse weapons upgrading and plenty of skill settings and ability to add or subtract lives and continues. One of the few games on a cartridge this early of a release that has to decompress the graphics in or to display them properly(kinda like a short load time similar to disc based games) just a fun shooter to play. AIR BUSTER (also known as AERO BLASTERS on the Turbografx-16) is nothing spectacular, but what it does it does right. Simple controls, excellent weapons, fast paced action, it's all there. I still question the "Loading" screens (on a Genesis game?!), but they're not as long as say those on the PS2. Bottom line, it's a good buy. It may not be THUNDER FORCE III, but it's still fun and satisfying.

The game and packaging is in really good shape for its age. I got this game because of a recommendation and i really enjoy it as well as other shooters in the genera. If you enjoy these side scrolling or vertical scrolling shooters i would recommend this game as well as games from the thunder force series, raden series, gradius series, and darius series as well as musha, radient silver gun, ikaruga, and more.
