This game is entirely enjoyable and not too difficult. There are varying difficulties to choose from and they match according to the player skill set. The additional option of interacting with your squad via voice chat is an interesting concept which will work with the simpler commands and names, but voice calibration takes a bit of time to set up and trying to say multiple syllable words gives the game a hard time in identifying what is being said. Binary Domain is a game with the story fused together like I, Robot meets Terminator as the robots are being fought within a workable society with the many flaws that we suffer today. Since this is a Japanese game, some of the story can get kinda wonky and the enemies/bosses can get out of hand with the scale they are set into with all the damage they can take. Strategy is required to effectively have teammates help as much as they do and to disable robots in the most creative ways possible. Overall this can be both a casual game and a semi-hardcore game based on the level of difficulty. The amount of action this game offers is varied enough to keep it fresh and gives the player that much more interactivity when you can actually speak orders to your squadmates (though unreliable at times). This game should be given more credit for what it has done, but the only criticism I may give the game is that what the main character decides to say is pretty dorky: "Everyone alive? Holler if you're dead!" Game is definitely a must play and given that I paid less than $25 for the game, it was well worth the time and effort to enjoy such an experience.Read full review

Fantastic storyline. Great graphics. Completely overlooked game and I'm hoping for a sequel. The gameplay was pretty standard fare but made up for by the visuals and the storyline. A fairly quick game.
