The game play is a little challenging but fun at the same time. Creating chain reactions to get the high score and to destroy mini bosses and stage bosses is quite fun. The music is good as well, and the Quicken items (which are known as pink enemies) help you create bigger chain combos (eight Quickens items total) to get even higher scores. Then the Point Bonus enemies (which are known as green enemies) help you get high score plus extra craft (life). Whats great too about the Quicken items is that once you start collecting them, the tempo of the music goes faster. Also about Quicken items is that they deliver the mini bosses which give you extra time (+10sec each, +30sec total). Mini bosses very depending on how much Quicken items you have, four or less equals one mini boss, five through seven equals two mini bosses, and eight equals three mini bosses. Once the mini bosses have been destroyed they leave behind time extend items to continue playing longer which is a good help to achieve even higher scores. The mini bosses reappear again once they are destroyed. The Pulse bombs (yellow items) don't leave anything once destroyed, but once activated they charge up and leave an explosion, which gets you more points. Stage bosses differ, each boss will have about three or more stages, that require a certain amount of chain hits (example, first boss stage will need about a chain reaction hit of ten to advance to the next boss stage.) Each level or Drive has a different theme, (example, the first stage Saturday Night Drive is like a dance theme in which your inside a sphere which looks like a disco ball, another will be Cambrian Drive which looks like rocks / fossils, and Big Bang Drive, which looks like atomic particles. There are six game modes, 1.Arcade which you work your way through the game, 2.Caravan which you can choose the stage you want (you have to play Arcade and unlock the levels by achieving a rank of A or higher) 3.Boss Attack which you can face the boss of the stage. 4. Original which you can play the original version of Every Extend Extra (known as Every Extend). I haven't tried 4.Multiplayer which is a head to head battle or 5.Vs Mode which will display up to six opponents for head to head play because I don't know anyone else who has this game. The only thing that bugs me is that once you have five or six Quicken items, it makes the last three or two Quicken items difficult to get which I found myself restarting the game play. Out of luck the last three or two Quicken items will come but it will be too late because the stage boss has come. Other than that it's a great game for all to enjoy.Read full review
The biggest problem with most PSP games is that they are aimed at being a console game. These games take up to 15 hour to complete. One of the reasons that we bought the PSP was to have a portable game device to play more than just solitaire while waiting in a doctors office, grocery line, etc. This is one of those games that can be played and enjoyed a few minutes at a time. This is a great buy for PSP owner's who are looking for the same.
I tried to find fun with it but,nope.. not even my kids play with it graphics are kind of cool but too repetitive poor fonts used on game, and options very limited the good news:is cheap and you can add it to your PSP as "free game" when you want to sell it.
Easy controls and very addicting gameplay combined with trippy music and visual candy. Pick it up; you won't regret it.
All perfect
