Reading about this game you’ll find a plethora of bad and mixed reviews. I took a chance on it and much to my surprise, it’s a really great game. I think the bad stigma comes from the “Final Fight” name. I consider this game far better than Beatdown: Fist of Vengeance. There’s only one part in the entire game that kind of had me scratching my head…it’s a mini-game for the chef killing rats. I can get over the fact that this weird mini-game made it into the final product, most of which are completely optional, but this particular one was required to progress the story. After about 20 tries I finally got it, but it did kind of kill the vibe of the game for a few minutes. The story is great, voice acting is superb, and the soundtrack, there’s a song for everyone in the game. The story gets a little far-fetched, but it’s a video game and shouldn’t be taken too seriously. The controls and gameplay are spot on and there is just something satisfying of nailing a counter after a block. A solid beat em up, maybe not to the technical perfection of Urban Reign, but it’s not as compartmentalized either. It doesn’t wear out it’s welcome at about 8 to 10 hours, if you can look past the “Final Fight” name and think of it as it’s own thing, you have the opportunity to have a real good time with it.Read full review

It's a ps2 games to obviously you notice the graphics right away but, It's actually not a bad game and it's the last installment for the final fight franchise. the storyline is pretty good and the game is fun overall if you just have fun with it. It includes the original final fight game. Also it has its own version of the side scroll beat em up with Kyle as an added character

The game has it's flaws, but it's the incredible detail and characters that made this game one of my all-time favorites. I loved playing it over and over, but it has a few things that really got to me... -Weak two player mode, uncontrollable camera angles, weird mini-games, limited music. Strong points included... - Excellent focus on environment detail, likeable characters (Kyle's THE MAN!), interesting storyline, great voice acting, descent graphics.
If your into the Final Fight game series? This game is a must for all Final Fight fans. Also if your into the Street Fighter game series? Cammy from Street Fighter also makes her apperance in this game. She's really came a long way since her Super Street Fighter II game Introduction all those years ago. And if your a Cammy fan you can see what Cammy has been doing since those days of Street Fighter. Game is all in 3-D CGI and this is the best way for Capcom to do this game series as it's never been done before. Now if only Capcom would do a new Street Fighter with 3-D CGI characters as Final Fight: Streetwise that would rock! Of course this game is rated M=Mature and it's not for kids to play. So for you older adult players this game is one to pick up and play and play again. The game has many hidden features and many things to look for and do. Endless hours of game playing fun. Play all day and all Night! As a Street Fighter game fan myself i got this game for many reason's. Cammy being the first reason. And if you have played any of the Alpha Street Fighter games? Then you all know that certain Final Fight characters have been part of the Alpha Street Fighter game series as well. Can anyone say Crossover! That's my review of this Great game and many reason's why to pick this game up. Thanks!Read full review
I bought this game beacuse it looked like a great game and an interesting concept. I was not disappointed in that regard. The missions were challenging, but very fun to get through. The graphics were great, as well as the fighting styles. The only thing that I didn't like was the gratuitous use of profanity throughout the game. I normally play with my sons and I was shocked to hear most of the things coming out of this game. I know that it has a mature rating, and I also know that the nature of the game lends itself to this type of talk, but I think that it took a little from the game as a whole. If it's just adults playing I say, "Play on!". If there are kids involved you might want to do a little supervision.
